IMDB rating: 5.70 Plot: Glen Canyon, Arizona, the present day. Wayne, practising at night in the desert for his upcoming fireman’s exam, witnesses the impact of a meteorite. The next day, biology teacher Dr. Ira Kane and geology teacher Harry Block from Glen Canyon Community College manage to get to the meteorite, which is stuck in the ground at the bottom of a cave. By taking a sample, they discover a slimy blue fluid coming out of the meteorite. A little later, Ira Kane finds out that myriads of single-celled life-forms dwell in the fluid, evolve at an incredible rate, even while he’s watching. What first seems like a sure ticket to Sweden for the Nobel Prize soon develops into a nightmare: By evolving and adapting at that unbelievably fast rate, the Aliens start spreading out, and the Military comes in. Now it all comes down to what Darwin so rightfully stated: Survival of the fittest. And no good idea in sight… |

Doesn't homosexuality practically go against everything?
It clearly goes against the bible/God’s word where is says that it is an abomination to God (Leviticus 18:22 i believe) and in the bible it says you must be fruitful and multiply, if you are gay you clearly can’t do that.
also by evolutionary standards, you have to try to keep your species going and spread around the world so it doesn’t go extinct but then BAM gays? what the crap they just went against evolution…hmmmmm?
well okay i know that nature isn’t perfect but i wanted a serious answer and all these people that get way too offended show up, come on grow up already. and i know not for everybody homosexuality is a choice but for some i know it was and also my biology teacher told me there have been scientific studies that show that there is a defect in a homosexual persons brain. I’m not trying to offend anyone or anything but practically homosexual people might be mentally retarded, NOT TRYING TO OFFEND ANYBODY. and i have no idea what they call retarded people anymore, they try to make it more nice sounding and not as offensive and i just don’t remember what it is anymore
nature isn’t perfect: there are going to be some glitches: it’s obviously not a choice when people can tell kids are gay before they even show interest in the opposite sex
if people can be born with both male & female organs: they can be born gay too
why would anyone choose a lifestyle that receives so much negative attention? why are their suicide rates 4x higher than others?
i couldn’t think romantically about a chick if i tried: so it’s definitely not a choice!!
